Liverpool to win and over 3.5 goals

Liverpool are unbeaten in five matches against Arsenal under Jurgen Klopp, with over 3.5 goals in all of them.

The Reds have never failed to score less than three during that run and, having tightened up their defence since their last meeting, ought to outscore the Gunners comfortably.

Roberto Firmino to score

Firmino has five goals in his last five games against Arsenal, his highest tally against any current Premier League club.

He has a habit of popping up in big games, having already scored against Spurs and PSG this season, and should be afforded plenty of opportunities by the hosts’ leaky defence.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score

Arsenal should still be good for a goal, though, having scored at least twice in every league game since losing to Man City on the opening weekend.

Aubameyang has seven goals in his last seven league games, four of which have come off the bench, so looks the likeliest candidate even if he doesn’t start.

Granit Xhaka to be carded

Ten of Xhaka’s 18 Premier League yellows have come against Arsenal’s top-six rivals.

He’s already been booked against Man City and Chelsea this season and, covering at left back, will surely attract the referee’s attention against Liverpool, who are sandwiched between those two at the top of the table.
