Both teams to score

Arsenal have scored five goals their last two matches and will almost certainly get on the scoresheet on Sunday.

Cardiff are going to score eventually, and this looks a good opportunity given that Arsenal were lucky not to have let in three or four at home to West Ham last Saturday.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan to score

Mkhitaryan has played 90 minutes in all three matches under Unai Emery this season and got a goal against Chelsea a fortnight ago.

The Armenian has had plenty of chances and almost scored again last Saturday, forcing a good save from Lukasz Fabianski after meeting a Hector Bellerin pull-back on the edge of the box.

Harry Arter to be carded

Arter has started two games since joining Cardiff in the summer and was booked in both.

Expect another combative performance from the Irishman against Arsenal’s midfield.

Sokratis Papastathopolous to be carded

Two Arsenal players have been booked twice so far this season: Granit Xhaka and Sokratis.

Unlike Xhaka, the Greek defender is certain to start at the Cardiff City Stadium and looks a good bet for a card in what will likely be a physical game.
