Troy Deeney to score

Deeney continued his impressive start to the season by netting against Tottenham before the international break.

Four of the Watford captain’s last seven league goals have come at home to the fabled top six, which bodes well.

So does the fact that Deeney has scored a penalty in each of the Hornets’ last three home matches against United.

Romelu Lukaku to score

Lukaku has scored in both of United’s away matches this season, grabbing a brace at Burnley last time out.

The Belgium striker was in prolific form during the international break. He scored against Scotland, before netting two against Iceland.

Etienne Capoue to be carded

Capoue has been yellow carded in each of his three appearances at Vicarage Road this season, one of which – a nasty tackle on Wilfried Zaha – should have been a red.

Against Manchester United’s physical midfield trio of Nemanja Matic, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba, it would be no surprise to see the Frenchman in Mike Dean’s book.

Alexis Sanchez to be carded

Alexis was booked at Burnley for pulling back Phil Bardsley, a 33-year-old journeyman who is not renowned for his forward runs.

United No. 7’s does not enjoy the defensive side of the game and is likely to be given even more trouble by Daryl Janmaat, who is one of the Premier League’s better attacking full-backs.
