Here are Tom Bowles' football tips for Southampton v Manchester United on Saturday.
Match to end a draw
Southampton haven’t won at home this season, but four of their six matches have ended in draws. I wouldn’t be surprised if they nick a point from United, whose performances in recent weeks have been grim.
Maraoune Fellaini to score
United have scored 17 goals in nine away matches in all competitions this campaign and should net again here.
Fellaini played in an advanced role against Young Boys in midweek, a positional change that resulted in him scoring a late winner.
United fans won’t like it, but the Belgian is probably their biggest goal threat in this match.
Luke Shaw to be booked
It’s a sign of how stop-start Shaw’s United career has been that he has never faced his former club at St Mary’s.
He’s sure to start on Saturday, though, and the chances are he’ll get a yellow card.
Shaw missed last weekend’s draw with Crystal Palace through suspension, having received five bookings in 11 appearances.
