Spurs to win and BTTS

Tottenham have started their campaign with back-to-back wins without being anywhere near their best.

They are, however, in much better shape than Manchester United, who produced one of the worst performances of the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era at Brighton last weekend.

I can see this being another humbling outing for United, especially against a forward line as talented as Spurs’.

Jose Mourinho’s side have scored four goals in two games this season after somehow netting twice at the Amex, and should at least net a consolation in front of their home supporters.

Harry Kane to score

Kane, despite being short of fitness, got up and running for the season with a well-taken goal against Fulham last weekend.

The England captain, who scores in clusters, will fancy his chances against a porous United defence that have conceded two soft goals to poachers – Jamie Vardy and Glenn Murray – already this season.

Fred to be booked

Fred was carded against Leicester in United’s opening game and should’ve been booked for a swipe at Glenn Murray last weekend.

The midfielder, who received 13 yellows and one red playing for Shakhtar last season, is likely to go in the referee’s book on Monday. Particularly if United’s midfield, as is likely, gets overrun.
