Chelsea v Leicester: Pedro

Chelsea are unbeaten in all competitions at Stamford Bridge this season and have scored the opening goal in 11 games out of 13.

Given that Leicester have conceded nine goals in their four matches against the Big Six this season , it makes sense to go with the home team.

Pedro has been a regular in the team recently and scored the opener at Brighton last weekend. He averages the third-most shots per game in the Chelsea squad and looks a reasonable shout.

Manchester City v Crystal Palace: Raheem Sterling

City still have a 100 per cent home record in the league, scoring first in all nine of their matches at the Etihad.

So you'd be mad to back against the hosts here, particularly considering that Palace have conceded 17 goals without reply in their last four Premier League visits here.

Four of Raheem Sterling's league goals have come in the first half hour of matches, while he took just three minutes to find the net off the bench against Everton last week.

West Ham v Watford: Michail Antonio

Watford have gone behind in four consecutive away games, so focusing on a West Ham player here is logical.

And having netted at Fulham last weekend, Antonio looks a nice alternative to Javier Hernandez - who will prove a popular pick - to open the scoring for the Hammers on Saturday.

The 28-year-old should continue to play in a front two with Chicharito, and ranks second to the Mexican in terms of xG per minute of the players available to Manuel Pellegrini for this one.

Cardiff v Man Utd: Callum Paterson

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has replaced Jose Mourinho, but I still think it’s worth backing Cardiff to score first against a Manchester United side that have conceded first in seven of their last 10 matches in all competitions.

Callum Paterson, the Bluebirds’ top scorer, is worth a go. He has four goals already this season and netted the winner at home to Southampton two weeks ago.
