Premier League tips: A 9/1 treble for Saturday’s games

All three of Saturday's Premier League matches feature in our treble, which includes wins for two London clubs.

The FA Cup quarter-finals have left us with a truncated Saturday Premier League card, but there are still three matches taking place, headlined by an evening clash between Fulham and Tottenham at Craven Cottage.

Earlier in the day, beleaguered Burnley play host to Brentford, while Luton and Nottingham Forest do battle in a contest which carries huge significance at the bottom of the table.

All three fixtures feature in our Premier League treble.

Nottingham Forest to beat Luton /

Treble pays 9.45/1

Burnley v Brentford (15.00)

Burnley are 10 points adrift of safety and surely destined for a return to the Championship and their slim survival hopes could be all but extinguished when Brentford visit Turf Moor.

Unsurprisingly given the Clarets’ horrendous form, the away side have been made favourites and, while the Bees have won just one of their last eight games, that was a hugely difficult run against Tottenham, Man City (twice), Wolves, Liverpool, West Ham, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Thomas Frank’s men claimed just four points in that spell, but they scored in seven of those matches and they have the firepower to see off their hosts, who were beaten 5-0 and 2-0 in their last two home matches.

Luton v Nottingham Forest (15.00)

This is a massive clash at the wrong end of the table as 18th-placed Luton host 17th-placed Nottingham Forest and it could be the visitors who register a valuable victory.

Luton have put in some spirited performances this season, particularly at Kenilworth Road, but they’re winless in eight matches and will have to quickly recover from a huge midweek blow having let a 3-0 lead slip in a 4-3 loss at Bournemouth.

Forest are also struggling, but there was no disgrace in 1-0 defeats to Manchester United, Liverpool and Brighton in their last three outings and the Tricky Trees, who have beaten Chelsea and Newcastle away from home this term, can claim a huge victory.

Fulham v Tottenham (17.30)

Saturday evening’s televised contest comes from Craven Cottage where Tottenham will hope to leapfrog Aston Villa into the Premier League’s top four when they visit Fulham.

The hosts have been excellent on home turf this year, chalking up eight wins from 14 league matches, but they’ve tended to come up short against stronger teams, with Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle and Villa all winning in west London this season.

The Cottagers did shock Arsenal on New Year’s Eve, but could come unstuck against the Gunners’ north London rivals, who have won three of their last four Premier League matches.

Spurs are very much in the running for the final guaranteed Champions League place and Ange Postecoglou’s men will be confident of posting another road win having dismantled Villa 4-0 last weekend.
