Premier League tips: A 15/2 acca for Saturday’s games

Jamie Griffith's Premier League four-fold includes comfortable wins for Bournemouth and Arsenal.

It is another busy weekend in the Premier League with plenty to be resolved from top to bottom as the 2023/24 season approaches the home stretch.

On Saturday there are five matches on the cards in the top flight with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United involved.

We have selected bets in four of those matches, putting together an accumulator which pays out at over 7/1.

Best bets

Bournemouth to beat Sheffield United /
Crystal Palace to beat Luton Town /
Both teams to score: No in Wolves vs Fulham /
Arsenal -1 goal on handicap v Brentford /

Accumulator odds: 7.73/1

Bournemouth vs Sheffield United  (15:00)

The writing has been on the wall for some time for Sheffield United, who have likely started planning for next season in the Championship already.

There are still 11 matches to play in the Premier League this season but the Blades are 11 points adrift of safety and have shown no signs of improvement since re-appointing Chris Wilder.

They were destroyed 6-0 by Arsenal on Monday night and that was the fourth time in 2024 that they have conceded at least five goals.

Their goals-against tally in the league is a woeful 72 and they have lost 20 of their 27 assignments in the top flight this term.

Expect another defeat for the Blades when they travel to Bournemouth, who have so far stayed clear of danger under Andoni Iraola.

Crystal Palace vs Luton Town (15:00)

Crystal Palace began life under Oliver Glasner with a 3-0 win over Burnley at Selhurst Park last month and they look a good bet to win upon their return to their Croydon home on Saturday.

The Eagles lost 3-1 away to Tottenham last Saturday but had led in that game until the 77th minute and performed well on the counter attack in north London.

A home game against Luton is a more winnable affair and they can justify favouritism at Selhurst Park.

The visitors can be tricky to break down at home but have won just two league games on their travels this term.

Wolves vs Fulham (15:00)

Both Wolves and Fulham are mid-table in the Premier League and there is unlikely to be much between them when they clash at Molineux.

There are only three points between the teams and a low-scoring game could be on the cards.

Wolves have kept clean sheets in each of their last two home games, against Sheffield United and Brighton, and in four of the club’s last five matches one or both teams have failed to score.

With that in mind, a punt on one or both teams to not score could be a worthwhile bet when Fulham travel to the Black Country.

Arsenal vs Brentford (17:30)

With Liverpool playing Manchester City on Sunday, title hopefuls Arsenal will know they have a great opportunity to lay down a marker on Saturday evening and they will likely leave nothing to chance against Brentford.

The Gunners have been exceptional since the turn of the year, churning out seven straight wins in the Premier League and they have scored a sensational 31 goals in the process.

Most recently they battered Sheffield United 6-0 on Monday and they could also rack up the goals against inconsistent Brentford, who lost their last away game 4-2 against London rivals West Ham.

With that in mind, Arsenal are worth backing at -1 goal on the handicap or, in other words, to win by two or more goals, in this London derby.
