Here are Will Rook's football betting tips for Newcastle v Burnley on Tuesday evening:

Miguel Almiron to score

Almiron earned a standing ovation when he was substituted after 80 minutes in Newcastle’s 2-0 victory over Huddersfield at the weekend.

The Paraguayan forced Jonas Lossl into three saves and was inches away from scoring his first Magpies goal after an audacious chip came back off the post in the first half.

Under 2.5 goals

There has been three or more goals in just one of Newcastle’s last five games in all competitions – their 2-1 victory over Manchester City.

Given that Burnley have failed to score in five of their last nine away games, this looks a safe bet.

Phil Bardsley to be carded

Bardsley collected his ninth card in just 18 appearances in all competitions in Burnley’s victory over Tottenham on Saturday.

Eight of those have come in the Premier League, making him the equal-third most booked player in the division.

Fabian Schar to be carded

Schar is one of many players tied with Bardsley on eight cards in the league.

The Swiss international has clocked up 10 for club and country in just 24 appearances, so he has every chance of coming through for us here.
