David Silva to score

Silva scored in two of City’s first three home league games of the season, and can pick up that good form here.

The Spaniard ranks 17th for attempts on goal per Premier League home match, and is well rested after being left out of City’s matchday squad for Thursday’s EFL Cup win over Fulham.

Raheem Sterling to score

Sterling has scored in all his league appearances at the Etihad this season, so is an obvious bet to hit the net against Southampton.

The 23-year-old ranks sixth for shots per Premier League home match, and is also fresh after not being required as a substitute on Thursday.

Mario Lemina to be carded

Lemina has been booked in both of his appearances against top-six opposition this season, as well as in tricky away matches at Everton and Bournemouth.

He is a great bet to pick up another yellow against City, who have seen an opposition midfielder carded in three of five league matches at the Etihad this term.

Over 9.5 Manchester City corners

City have won 10 corners in four of their five league home matches this season, so back them to achieve similar here.

Southampton conceded 12 corners against Chelsea at the start of last month.
