Mythbusters: 4 double-chance football tips for Sunday
Adam Drury is backing four favourites to slip up this weekend in his football tips. If you fancy them all, back the 30/1 four-fold.
Had you placed a £10 stake on each of Adam Drury's Mythbusters football betting tips for the 2018/19 season, your profit would be:
Doncaster not to beat Charlton (12:15)
Charlton won 10 and drew two of their last 13 games of the regular league season to finish third in League One.
Lee Bowyer’s side have lost just one of their last seven away matches, drawing 1-1 in their league game at Doncaster on that run.
Rovers crawled into the play-off positions, losing at home to Accrington in a run of one win from their last four matches.
Crystal Palace not to beat Bournemouth (15:00)
Having scored eight goals in their last two away matches, Bournemouth are a massive bet to take something from Crystal Palace on the last day of the season.
Eddie Howe’s side have only lost at Leicester in their last four away games overall, and rank fourth for xPoints away from home in the last three months.
Only Huddersfield have performed worse than Palace in terms of points and goals at home this season. Roy Hodgson’s side have only beaten the Terriers in their last six at Selhurst Park.
Manchester United not to beat Cardiff (15:00)
Manchester United’s failure to beat Huddersfield last weekend was a new low, so it is hard to be too confident that they will overcome Cardiff at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have won just two of their last 11 matches – fortunate 2-1 home victories against Watford and West Ham. They have scored twice in their last four league matches.
Cardiff have put in creditable performances in 1-0 and 2-1 defeats at Tottenham and Arsenal this season, and are unlikely to throw the towel in here.
Villarreal not to beat Eibar (17:30)
Eibar have won both of their last two matches, including an impressive 1-0 victory at Valencia a fortnight ago.
The visitors have avoided defeat in six of their 10 away matches in 2019, with three of their four defeats coming against top-half teams.
Villarreal have won just three of their last 10 matches overall, two of which came against teams below Eibar in the table.
Odds subject to change.
