Middlesbrough not to beat Hull

Middlesbrough had lost six successive matches, dropping out of the play-off positions in the process, prior to their 2-0 win over crisis-club Bolton on Tuesday.

Tony Pulis’ side have lost four consecutive home games, only beating Peterborough, Ipswich and QPR in their last 14 at the Riverside.

Hull have won their last three matches, only losing two of their last eight.

Sunderland not to beat Coventry

Having have held Luton and Barnsley to 1-1 and 2-2 draws in the last two months, Coventry are primed to avoid defeat at the other member of League One’s top three.

Mark Robins’ side are unbeaten in their last five away games overall.

Sunderland have dropped points in six of their eight home matches against top-half teams this season. Since losing to Aiden McGeady to injury, they have scraped past Rochdale 2-1 and drawn at home to Burton.

Bury not to beat Colchester

Bury players have reportedly been on strike this week after their March wages remained unpaid, so it makes sense to back against them here.

Ryan Lowe’s side have lost three consecutive matches, including 3-1 and 3-0 defeats in their last two at Gigg Lane.

Colchester won 1-0 at Cambridge in their last away match and have avoided defeat in five of their six away matches against top-seven teams this season.

Roma not to beat Udinese

Roma have won just two of their five matches under Claudio Ranieri.

That run includes a failure to win either of their last two matches at the Stadio Olimpico, with Edin Dzeko without a goal in eight matches for club and country.

Udinese have won two of their three matches since appointing Igor Tudor as manager. The exception was a fine 1-1 draw at Milan.
