1. Arsenal to win to nil v Huddersfield (15:00)

Huddersfield’s miserable season continued last weekend with a 5-0 thumping at Chelsea.

The Terriers have lost 12 and drawn one of their last 13 matches. They have also failed to score in their last five and have netted just 13 league goals – eight fewer than any other side.

Arsenal have won five out of five against the current bottom three and are worth taking on at this price, despite their patched-up defence.

2. Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) to score v Bournemouth (15:00)

Against a porous Bournemouth defence, Firmino is a nice odds-against bet to help return Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table.

The Brazilian has scored five goals in his last seven appearances, including four in three at Anfield. He also ranks in the top 10 for xG per minute since the beginning of December, suggesting that his goalscoring should continue.

Bournemouth’s away games against the top six this season have finished in 2-0, 3-1, 5-0 and 4-1 defeats, so plenty of chances should come Firmino’s way.

3. Luton to beat Wycombe (15:00)

Luton coasted past Shrewsbury with a 3-0 away victory to extend their lead at the top of League One to six points, continuing their impressive form since manager Nathan Jones left for Stoke.

The Hatters are unbeaten in their last 18 league games and have won four out of five since Jones departed, only dropping points in a 1-1 draw away to Sunderland last month.

They have the best home record in the division, having won 12 and drawn three of their 15 games at Kenilworth Road, and are worth backing at almost any price this weekend.

Wycombe have won just two of their last 13 away games in all competitions and were beaten 2-0 at Luton in the FA Cup in November.

4. Charlton not to beat Southend (15:00)

The front two of Lyle Taylor and Karlan Grant have been a huge influence in Charlton’s promotion bid, so the absence of both – Grant after he was sold to Huddersfield and Taylor due to suspension – is damaging to their prospects here.

The pair have scored 29 of the Addick’s 47 league goals this season, with Lee Bowyer’s side failing to do much in attack without them in a 1-0 defeat to Fleetwood last week.

Southend have won two of their last three away games to nil and should fancy their chances of repeating the trick here.

5. Lincoln v Northampton both teams to score (15:00)

Lincoln have only failed to score at home once this season, a freak 1-0 defeat to Crawley at the start of September, so there is little doubt that they will find the net in this one.

BTTS has landed in nine of the Imps’ last 11 home matches, though, so in-form Northampton are an obvious bet to net themselves.

The Cobblers have scored and conceded in eight of their last nine matches, including a 2-1 win at Tranmere on Tuesday.

6. Racing Strasbourg to beat Angers (19:30)

Strasbourg are sixth in Ligue 1, just two points off a Europa League spot, and in the Coupe de la Ligue final, having won six of their last eight matches in all competitions.

Thierry Laurey’s side have beaten Nice and Lille and drawn 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain in a run that has seen them lose just one of their last 11 home games.

That sequence includes three straight victories at the Stade de la Meinau and that should become four against an Angers side without an away win in nine.

7. Werder Bremen v Augsburg both teams to score (14:30)

This meeting of the Bundesliga’s second- and third-most reliable BTTS sides promises plenty of goals.

Werder Bremen have scored in all 24 of their matches in all competitions this season, keeping just one clean sheet in their last 14.

Augsburg beat Mainz 3-0 last weekend and have found the net in five of their last six league games.

8. Rodrigo (Valencia) to score v Real Sociedad (15:15)

Rodrigo has scored five goals in his last three starts, excluding games against Barcelona, so he is a big price to find the net on Sunday.

The Spaniard ranks third for xG in La Liga this season, only bettered by Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, and sits sixth for shots and shots inside the penalty area per game.

Fronting a side that have scored 10 goals in their last four games, he should relish facing a Real Sociedad defence that have conceded twice in three of their last five.

9. PSV to beat Utrecht and over 2.5 goals (15:45)

PSV beat Fortuna Sittard 5-0 last weekend to notch their 18th victory in 20 Eredivisie matches and maintain their five-point lead over Ajax at the top of the table.

They have scored 69 league goals this season and all but one of their nine away games have seen three or more goals scored.

Utrecht have lost four straight league games and there have been three or more goals in nine of their last 10 matches.

WR | Continental Breakfast: Sunday European five-fold

10. Manchester City v Chelsea over 4.5 cards

This is a feisty fixture, with three of the last six Premier League meetings between the two producing four or more cards, including five yellows and two reds two seasons ago.

Given that Mike Dean – who averages 4.9 cards per Premier League game this season, including nine reds in 19 matches – takes charge of this one, the potential for more seems high.
