4 football tips from Sunday's international matches
Back this four-fold, which is made up of football tips from the latest round of friendlies and UEFA Nations League matches.
Portugal to beat Scotland (17:00)
Scotland’s recent record at Hampden Park is not great, despite winning 2-0 against Albania in their last time out.
Alex McLeish’s side had lost each of their previous three home games, including defeats to Belgium and the Netherlands by an aggregate score of 5-0.
Portugal proved they don’t need Cristiano Ronaldo to win as they beat Italy 1-0 in the previous international break. They have lost just one of their last 10 matches.
Azerbaijan to win to nil v Malta (17:00)
Malta’s woeful travelling record means this is worth a bet, no matter what price.
The visitors have lost 22 of their last 26 away games, winning just once in that period and failing to even score in 18 of those.
Azerbaijan are unbeaten in seven matches and have kept back-to-back clean sheets at home.
Montenegro to beat Lithuania (19:45)
Lithuania have lost 14 of their last 17 matches, including all three of their Nations League matches so far, and look a safe bet to be beaten again.
Montenegro won 2-0 against Lithuania when the sides last met a month ago and have lost just one of their last six matches.
Poland to win or draw v Italy (19:45)
Italy drew 1-1 in a friendly with Ukraine on Wednesday and have now won just one of their last 10 matches.
Their only victory in that run came against Saudi Arabia, while they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Poland in their first round of Nations League matches.
Poland ended the last international break with back-to-back draws and have lost just three of their last 27 home games.
