Will Rook – Wigan to beat Scunthorpe
With five league wins from six, second-placed Wigan are starting to assert their authority on League One.
They are a good price to win another three points against Scunthorpe, who lost to Shrewsbury last time out and could only draw with lowly Gillingham.
Tom Clee – Rochdale to beat Rotherham
Rochdale are typically strong at home, losing just two of their last 25 league matches at Spotland.
Rotherham are typically poor away, losing 25 of their last 28 league matches on the road. Value.
Adam Drury – Belgium or draw v Bosnia –
It is not often that a team of Belgium’s quality are such a long price not to lose, so it is worth taking advantage this weekend.
Bosnia may be on a nine-game unbeaten home run, but they have not played anyone particularly strong, even being held by Republic of Ireland and Greece.
Tom Bowles – Bulgaria or draw v France
Bulgaria – who remain in contention to qualify for next year’s World Cup – have won their last five competitive matches on home soil, including against esteemed opposition such as the Netherlands and Sweden.
France can be thwarted by lesser opponents, having been held to a 0-0 draw at home to Luxembourg last month.
Didier Deschamps’ side were also beaten by Sweden in their last qualifier away from home.
Jack Green – Switzerland to beat Hungary to nil –
Switzerland have won nine consecutive games and kept six successive clean sheets.
Hungary have lost five of their last six, with that victory over Latvia the only game in which they’ve scored.
Enough said.
