Tino Werner (RB Leipzig) to score v Stuttgart (19:30)

Werner, who notched a brace in Leipzig’s last home match less than a fortnight ago, is the obvious bet to score again at the right side of evens.

No player has fired more shots inside the penalty area per game than Werner in the Bundesliga this season, while his team rank third in the same metric.

Only four teams have conceded more shots than Stuttgart this season, while they shipped three goals in their last away game at Freiburg.

Alejandro Gomez (Atalanta) to score v Torino (20:00)

After striking the first of Atalanta’s two equalisers at Milan on Sunday, Gomez is the obvious bet to net in what should be a high-scoring match against Torino.

That goal was the Argentine’s third of the season, after he bagged a brace in his side’s opening-weekend home win against Frosinone.

Back on home soil, he can repeat the trick against Torino, who have managed just two clean sheets in 11 away matches under Walter Mazzarri and conceded the fifth-most shots on target in Serie A this season.

Krzysztof Piatek (Genoa) to score v Chievo (20:00)

Having successfully tipped Piatek to score against Bologna 10 days ago, I’m once again backing this season’s Serie A revelation to repeat the trick.

The 23-year-old has since scored again, away at Lazio, while the fact that he ranks fourth for shots and second to Cristiano Ronaldo for shots inside the penalty area this season suggests that his record of four goals in five is sustainable.

Chievo have conceded 11 more shots on target than the next-leakiest side in Serie A, so this is a fantastic price for another Piatek goal.

Wissam Ben Yedder (Sevilla) to score v Real Madrid (21:00)

Ben Yedder has stormed into form in the last week, backing up a brace in last week’s Europa League tie against St Liege with a hat-trick in a 6-2 win at Levante on Sunday.

The Frenchman – who was on the bench for his side’s previous La Liga matches – adds a clinical edge to a side that had previously been finishing badly. Four goals from 65 shots was transformed into 10 goals from 79 shots after his first league start.

Real Madrid are without an away clean sheet this season, so chances for Ben Yedder to continue his good run should present themselves.
