Raheem Sterling –

Sterling is an eye-catching price to find the net against Huddersfield on Sunday, having scored 11 goals in 16 league starts at the Etihad Stadium last season.

The 23-year-old notched on his first two Premier League starts of last term, and can replicate that success after scoring at Arsenal last week.

City had already secured the title when Huddersfield managed a 0-0 draw in this fixture last season, so don’t expect the hosts to struggle for goals this time.

Neal Maupay –

Considering Brentford’s electric start to the season, Maupay is a fantastic bet to add to the opening-day brace he bagged against Rotherham.

The Bees scored five that day and created several chances to turn their 1-1 draw at Stoke into a victory last week. If they come close to replicating those performances, opportunities will not be in short supply for the Frenchman against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Owls shipped three at Wigan in their first away game of this term and will struggle to prevent their hosts from creating chances.

Vincent Aboubakar –

Aboubakar scored twice inside the first 20 minutes of Porto’s first league game of the season last weekend, so is an obvious bet to repeat the trick at Belenenses on Sunday.

The 26-year-old started fast last season as well, scoring four goals in his first three games on his way to reaching 20 goals for the campaign.

Belenenses conceded seven goals in their last three home games of the 2017/18 campaign, and are likely to be overwhelmed by the Portuguese champions.

Valere Germain –

At a shorter price than Marseille team-mates Florian Thauvin and Kostas Mitroglou, Germain is a good bet to add to his goal in last weekend’s 4-0 rout of Toulouse.

The striker’s 12 goals last season may have included a run of nine in 11 matches from December to February, but a late burst of two in three league games in May has been extended into this campaign.

Opposition Nimes Olympique are playing at this level for the first time in 25 years, and conceded three goals in their victory on the opening weekend.
