Anytime goalscorers: 4 football tips for Sunday's football
Back our anytime goalscorer 48/1 four-fold or the Lucky 15, including football betting tips from the Premier League, Serie A and Ligue 1.
Adama Traore (Wolves) to score v Burnley (13:30)
A combination of Diogo Jota’s poor form and a succession of explosive cameos should ensure that Traore starts this game.
And, after netting the winner at West Ham a fortnight ago, the ex-Barcelona winger is a big price to score.
Burnley conceded four at Fulham in their last away game, and – though they should improve after a two-week break – will naturally be vulnerable to Traore’s extraordinary pace.
Krzysztof Piatek (Genoa) to score v Bologna (14:00)
Genoa manager Davide Ballardini admits he is “trying to whisper” about Piatek but, after he was linked to Barcelona this week, keeping him quiet for much longer could prove difficult.
“The complete package” has scored three goals in his side’s first two Serie A matches this season, resulting in a debut for Poland last week, and looks a great bet to hit the net again on Sunday.
Bologna lost 3-0 to Inter last time out, and will be punished for similar defensive shortcomings this weekend, too.
Mario Mandzukic (Juventus) to score v Sassuolo (14:00)
Mandzukic is playing as Juventus’ central striker despite the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo, so is a better bet to score on Sunday than his illustrious team-mate.
The 32-year-old has netted in both of the Serie A champions’ last two league matches, including a poacher’s effort inside two minutes at Parma last time out.
Despite starting with two wins and a draw, Sassuolo have conceded five goals in their last two matches, so plenty of opportunities should come his way.
Kostas Mitroglou (Marseille) to score v Guingamp (20:00)
Marseille should win heavily against Guingamp, so picking any of their forwards to hit the net is understandable.
But the best bet is Mitroglou, who was picked to lead the line in a defensive formation away at Monaco last week and still scored.
The Greek striker netted seven goals in nine league appearances at the end of last season, including three in the last two at home.
