Lucky 15: £323.83
Sam Vokes (Burnley) to score v Barnsley (12:30)
Vokes has been a substitute in five of Burnley’s last six matches, so looks a certainty to start as Sean Dyche makes changes to his Burnley side for this game with Barnsley.
The Welshman has scored four goals this season and ranks third in the Tykes’ squad for xG per 90 minutes.
Leading the line against third-tier opposition should ensure that he has plenty of chances to add to his goals tally, particularly considering that Barnsley were involved in a gruelling 0-0 draw at in-form Luton on Tuesday evening.
Cenk Tosun (Everton) to score v Lincoln (15:00)
After Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both played 90 minutes for Everton against Leicester on New Year’s Day, we can safely assume that Tosun will lead the line against Lincoln.
In a match that his side should dominate, chances to add to his tally of two goals this season should come along. He ranks second only to Oumar Niasse in terms of xG per minute for the Toffees this season and is third for shots per game.
Lincoln have kept two clean sheets in their last nine league away games, a record that is unlikely to improve against Premier League opposition.
Karlan Grant (Charlton) to score v Sunderland (15:00)
Both Grant and Lyle Taylor are prolific for Charlton, but a slightly higher level of consistency gives Grant the edge.
The 21-year-old has scored in all of his last three appearances at the Valley and in four of his last seven overall. He is also sometimes on penalty duty, although Taylor did take the Addicks’ most recent one on New Year’s Day.
Sunderland have kept just two clean sheets in 11 non-EFL Trophy matches and will struggle to contain an attack that have scored at least twice in six of its last seven league and cup home matches.
Connor Wickham (Crystal Palace) to score v Grimsby (17:30)
Like Vokes and Tosun, Wickham should be guaranteed to start after a succession of appearances off the bench.
The striker’s numbers this season look good, albeit in a tiny sample size. He has posted an xG of 0.64 per 90 minutes, the highest in the Palace squad, and is sure to have more chances created for him against League Two Grimsby.
The Mariners have conceded twice in four of their last eight away games, keeping three clean sheets in nine overall. They have conceded a League Two high of 17.23 shots per away game this term.
