Don't Speculate: 3 football tips for Wednesday's EFL action
Back our 6/1 multiple, featuring football tips from Wednesday evening's Championship fixtures.
Bristol City to win or draw v Ipswich
Bottom-of-the-league Ipswich extended their winless run to six matches after being beaten 2-1 at home to West Brom on Friday evening.
The Tractor Boys have accrued just 11 points in 18 league games this season, winning just once and scoring only seven goals from open play.
Bristol City are on a poor run themselves, having lost their last four, but Ipswich’s feeble attack should give them a chance to end that miserable run.
Birmingham to win or draw v Millwall
Millwall were held to a 1-1 draw on Saturday at home to fellow strugglers Bolton, who scored their first league goal in over six hours.
Neil Harris’ side have earned just one point in their last three matches and are only above the relegation zone on goal difference.
With injury doubts over strikers Tom Elliott and Steve Morison, as well as long-term absentee Tom Bradshaw, they will be light going forward again.
Birmingham have lost just two of their last 14 league games and should be able to at least avoid defeat against their troubled hosts.
Derby to beat Stoke
Derby bounced back from defeat against Aston Villa with a 2-1 victory at Sheffield Wednesday over the weekend.
That was the Rams’ fourth victory in their last six league games, while they have won six of their nine matches against sides that are currently in the bottom half.
Stoke are without a win in their last three matches at home and, at this price, it’s hard not to get behind Derby.
