Blackpool to beat AFC Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon’s 2-1 loss at home to Portsmouth last weekend was their eighth defeat in 10 league matches.

That result left the Dons bottom of the form table and within just one point of the relegation zone.

Blackpool are without a defeat in nine league matches, with their only loss so far coming against Portsmouth on the second weekend of the season.

Doncaster to beat Gillingham

Doncaster delivered for us last weekend as 13/8 winners away to Rochdale and, despite their shorter price this time around, they are well worth getting behind again.

Grant McCann’s side have won six of their last eight matches in all competitions, including victories against strugglers Bradford and Plymouth.

Gillingham have lost back-to-back games in the league and EFL Trophy since a 2-0 win at table-toppers Portsmouth a fortnight ago – their only victory in 13 matches in all competitions.

Portsmouth to beat Fleetwood

Portsmouth maintained their three-point lead at the top of League One by winning away to Wimbledon last weekend.

Kenny Jackett’s side have won nine and lost just one of their 13 league games this season and, behind Barnsley, are the division’s standout side in terms of performance data.

Expect another positive result against a Fleetwood side that, despite back-to-back victories, have won just one of their last five games on the road.

Exeter to beat Grimsby

Back-to-back league victories against Carlisle and Port Vale, who have lost six of their last seven matches between them, shouldn’t dissuade you backing against Grimsby this weekend.

The Mariners had lost each of their last six and gone eight games without a victory prior to those wins. They also have the worst attack and defence in League Two in terms of xG.

Exeter have won all four of their matches against the current bottom eight and, following their 2-0 victory over Swindon last weekend, have dropped just four points in a seven-game unbeaten run.

Lincoln to beat Cambridge

League Two leaders Lincoln are another side I’m sticking with after they emphatically came through for us in last weekend’s winning EFL acca.

The Imps smashed Port Vale 6-2 to take their tally to 10 league victories in just 13 matches, maintaining their four-point lead at the top.

Cambridge are bottom of the form table, having earned just one point in their last seven league games, and have lost each of their last four matches.
