Preston to beat Luton

Preston ended a run of four straight defeats with a 2-1 victory over third-placed Fulham in midweek.

North End have the best home record in the Championship, having won eight and drawn two of their 11 matches at Deepdale.

Luton slipped to within three points of the relegation zone following their 3-0 defeat at Stoke on Tuesday, which was their seventh loss in nine games.

Portsmouth to beat Accrington

Portsmouth made it 10 games without defeat as they drew 2-2 with third-placed Peterborough last Saturday.

They have taken 15 points from a possible 21 in the league and have won five of their six games against the current bottom eight.

Accrington drew 1-1 away to strugglers Tranmere last weekend and have managed just three victories in their last 14 league games.

Oxford to beat MK Dons

Third-bottom MK Dons extended their winless run to 12 league games and are three points from safety following their 1-1 draw at Doncaster last weekend.

MK have picked up two points in that sequence – fewer than any other side in League One.

Oxford arrive on the back of an 18-match unbeaten run in all competitions (excluding penalty shoot-outs) and have dropped only eight points in their last 11 league games.

Plymouth to beat Morecambe

Morecambe are bottom of League Two and have lost nine of their last 11 away games in all competitions.

The Shrimps have lost five of their eight games against sides currently in the top nine, including 3-1 and 5-0 defeats away to Swindon and Crewe.

Plymouth recorded their third straight league victory at Home Park in their last home game, beating promotion rivals Bradford 2-1, and have only lost one in nine there this season.

Scunthorpe to beat Colchester

Scunthorpe have found form after a dreadful start to the season, winning each of their last five in all competitions.

That sequence includes three league victories, while they have also beaten top-three sides Exeter and Forest Green in their last six.

Colchester scored a stoppage-time winner to beat Salford 1-0 at home last weekend, but have won just two of their last five.
