West Brom to win to nil

Bolton made it 12 league defeats in their last 17 matches last week as they followed their 6-0 defeat at Hull with a 2-1 loss to Bristol City.

The Trotters have failed to score in four of their last six Championship matches and have the worst attack in the division, having netted just 18 times in 28 games.

West Brom have lost just one of their last 12 matches in all competitions and have only failed to score four times in their 31 games this season.

Draw at half time

Bolton don’t tend to capitulate until the second half, having gone in level at the break in four of their last six defeats.

They were also just a goal down at half time in their 6-0 defeat to Hull on New Year’s Day.

Dwight Gayle to score

Gayle netted West Brom’s only goal in their 1-1 draw at home to Norwich last time out and is their top scorer with 14 in all competitions.

The on-loan Newcastle forward hit a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over against strugglers Rotherham last month and has netted seven goals in his seven matches against sides currently in the bottom seven.

Over 3.5 cards

Bolton and West Brom have the fourth- and sixth-worst disciplinary records in the Championship respectively.

Both sides have picked up at least two cards each in their last five league games, so expect some tasty challenges at the University of Bolton Stadium.
