Leeds to win or draw v Derby (17:30) –

Leeds have avoided defeat on two of their last three visits to Pride Park, and are great value to do so again on Saturday.

They blew away Stoke last weekend in Marcelo Bielsa’s first match in charge, whereas Frank Lampard’s managerial debut ended with his Derby side grabbing a fortuitous late winner against Reading.

The Rams will have to improve significantly if they are to compete with the Championship’s better sides, and Bielsa’s side are worth backing to claim at least a point here.

St Etienne to beat Guingamp (19:00) –

Saint Etienne finished last season strongly, claiming six victories from their final nine matches.

Jean-Louis Gasset’s side drew with Paris Saint-Germain in that sequence and lost just four of their 19 home games throughout 2017/18.

Guingamp are currently on a seven-match winless run on the road, and have won just three of their last 18 away games.

Stade Rennes to beat Lille (19:00) –

Stade Rennes ended last season with just one defeat in their last 14 league matches to finish fifth in Ligue 1.

That sequence involved a seven-match unbeaten run away from home, one which included victories over Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain.

Lille stayed up by just one point last term and had the fourth-worst home record in the division.

PSV (-1) to beat Utrecht (19:45) –

PSV beat Utrecht 3-0 in March, and won 7-1 away from home when the two sides met in September.

The Eredivisie champions have won 11 successive matches against Utrecht – 10 of them by two goals or more – and shouldn’t have any problem increasing that tally this weekend.

PSV were unbeaten at home last season, winning 15 of 17, while Utrecht lost seven times on their travels.

Porto (-1) v Desportivo Chaves (21:00) –

Porto won 13 of their 17 home Primeira Liga games by more than one goal last season.

The Portuguese champions scored at least twice in all of their last seven league matches at the Estadio do Dragao, and won this fixture 3-0 earlier in the campaign.

Chaves managed just one win from their last five away matches, including two 2-0 defeats at bottom-half opponents.
