These picks represent good value to find the net in the quarter-final fixtures on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you fancy them all, back the 35/1 acca.
Sergio Aguero –
You just know that Aguero would have taken at least one of the crucial chances that Raheem Sterling missed against Manchester United on Saturday.
The 29-year-old has scored 14 goals in his last eight starts at the Etihad Stadium, and netted against Liverpool in the league fixture in September.
At close to evens, he is a great bet to score against a defence that have conceded at least twice in every away game at a top-six side this season.
Lionel Messi –
Messi’s goalscoring prowess does not need an explanation, and he has to be backed at a price not far short of evens.
The 30-year-old failed to score against Roma in last week’s first leg, but made up for it with a hat-trick against Leganes on Saturday to make it 12 goals in nine appearances.
Roma have conceded nine goals in four games, and will leave space for Messi to exploit as they chase their three-goal deficit.
Thomas Muller –
Having been rested for Saturday’s win at Augsburg, Muller is the value pick to score for Bayern Munich against Sevilla.
The German netted twice in the home leg of the last round against Besiktas, and has scored at least one goal in the quarter-finals in four of the last five seasons.
Sevilla have conceded 10 goals in their last four matches, and Bayern have scored 17 in four at home, so there will be chances for the 28-year-old to add to his tally.
Douglas Costa –
With Cristiano Ronaldo a short , and Paulo Dybala suspended, the search for value goes beyond the obvious in this match.
And given that Real Madrid have only managed a home clean sheet against Alaves in their last 11 matches at the Bernabeu, it is worth opting for a Juventus player to find the net.
Douglas Costa, who scored at Benevento on Saturday, will be vital in his side’s attempt to chasing down a three-goal deficit, and is a longer price than any of his fellow attackers.
