Fill Your Boots: Back our 4/1 Thursday BTTS four-fold
Both teams to score? We provide the answer with these football tips from the UEFA Nations League and international friendlies.
Andorra v Georgia: No (19:45)
Andorra have scored a total of two goals in their last 12 matches, so there is little hope for them here.
While their last home match against Kazakhstan finished 1-1, it was only the second time in 12 games that BTTS has landed on home soil.
Georgia have won their last four matches to nil, including a 3-0 victory in the reverse fixture against Andorra, with at least one team failing to score in all of their last eight.
Belgium v Iceland: No (19:45)
Iceland would have had a difficult enough time scoring against Belgium if they were at full strength, but an injury to Gylfi Sigurdsson worsens their chances further.
Erik Hamren’s side have scored just once in three competitive matches since the World Cup, at home to Switzerland, and will miss Sigurdsson’s creativity from open play and set-pieces.
Belgium won the reverse fixture 3-0 in September and have conceded just twice in their last five matches overall.
San Marino v Moldova: No (19:45)
This isn’t news, but San Marino are dreadful, to the point that backing them not to score even at very short odds is valid.
The hosts have scored just once in their last 14 matches, against Azerbaijan, and have lost their last six by a minimum of two goals to nil.
Moldova have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five matches, so will surely keep things tight enough to romp home to nil (available at ).
Republic of Ireland v Northern Ireland: No (19:45)
BTTS has landed in just two of Northern Ireland’s last 10 matches and it is difficult to imagine the goals flowing here either.
Michael O’Neill’s side have not scored in either of their last two matches and are without a goal away from home in six attempts. They have only scored at Azerbaijan and San Marino in their last 11 on the road, a run stretching back to March 2016.
The Republic failed to score in consecutive home games against Denmark and Wales in the October international break, with BTTS landing in just two of their last six home matches overall.
