Fill Your Boots: Back our 6/1 Wednesday BTTS football tips
These football tips from the Champions League and EFL should deliver goals, and profit. The four-fold is available at 6/1.
Tottenham v Barcelona (20:00)
Tottenham’s record in a similarly difficult group to this one last season suggests that BTTS is a near-certainty here.
BTTS landed in all four of Spurs’ group matches against Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund a year ago, and in both legs of their round of 16 tie against Juventus. They have also scored and conceded in seven of their nine games in all competitions this season.
Barcelona have scored and conceded in five of their last six, including an 8-2, 2-2 and two 2-1s.
Blackburn v Sheffield United (19:45)
Blackburn’s last three matches have finished 2-3, 3-2 and 2-2, so this BTTS price for the visit of Sheffield United is unmissable.
The hosts have scored in all of their five matches at Ewood Park since the opening weekend of the season, with goals at both ends in four of them.
Only two Championship teams have had more attempts on goal away from home than the Blades, whose last two matches have finished 3-2.
Rotherham v Bristol City (19:45)
After Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Stoke, Rotherham have scored in all six of their home matches this season.
Paul Waugh’s side – who were clinging onto a point in that match – have kept just three clean sheets in 12 matches overall this season, though, so it would be a surprise were they to keep out Bristol City.
No Championship team have fired more shots away from home than Lee Johnson’s visitors, who have scored eight goals in five matches on the road.
Sheffield Wednesday v West Brom (19:45)
After Friday’s 1-1 draw with Leeds, goals have gone in at both ends in nine of Sheffield Wednesday’s 10 games this season.
The Owls have got a 100 per cent BTTS record at Hillsborough this term, having scored in 13 of their 15 home matches since appointing Jos Luhukay as manager in January.
The Baggies are the Championship’s top goalscorers, having been involved in a 7-1, 4-3, 4-2 and 3-2 already this season. Four of their five league away matches have produced goals at both ends, including a 3-2 win at Preston on Saturday.
