Fill Your Boots: Back our 7/1 Sunday BTTS four-fold
Both teams to score? We provide the answer with these football tips from the UEFA Nations League and international friendlies.
Moldova v Luxembourg: No (17:00)
Moldova have kept four consecutive clean sheets, so backing against BTTS is the obvious bet for Sunday’s visit of Luxembourg.
Including Thursday’s 1-0 win in San Marino, goals have gone in at both ends in none of the hosts’ last six matches.
BTTS hasn’t landed in any of Luxembourg’s last nine, while they have only scored against Malta and San Marino in their last six on the road.
Northern Ireland v Austria: No (17:00)
Northern Ireland have already been relegated from the Nations League B Group 3, having managed just one goal from their three matches so far.
Michael O’Neill’s side drew 0-0 with the Republic of Ireland in a friendly on Thursday, while BTTS has landed in just three of their 11 home matches since Euro 2016.
Austria have managed just one goal in their last four games, including a 0-0 draw with Bosnia & Herzegovina on Thursday that ruled them out of winning this group.
Don’t expect much more entertainment from what is nothing more than a dead rubber.
Greece v Estonia: No (19:45)
After Thursday’s 2-0 defeat at Hungary, Estonia have not scored in any of their last five away games.
Martin Reim’s side have scored and conceded in just two of their 10 matches in 2018, and lost the reverse fixture against Greece 1-0 in September.
Sunday’s hosts have won both of their Nations League home matches 1-0 so far, with BTTS landing in just one of their last nine at home.
Switzerland v Belgium: Yes (19:45)
Excluding Wednesday’s meaningless friendly with Qatar in which several first-teamers were rested, Switzerland have scored 16 goals in their last four home games.
Vladimir Petkovic’s side have scored and conceded in two of their three competitive matches since the World Cup, including a 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture against Belgium, with the exception a 6-0 home win over Iceland.
Sunday’s visitors are guaranteed to score, having done so in every one of their six matches since the World Cup semi-final against France.
But of their last three competitive away games – against Greece, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Iceland – they have managed just one clean sheet.
