Here are four football tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Newcastle v Manchester City on Sunday.

Manchester City to win & under 4.5 goals {ODDS:569598402:7/10}

Newcastle are unbeaten in seven at home but it’s hard to see them troubling a City side who will be looking for a reaction after their loss to Chelsea on Thursday.

City have won three of five against the Toon under Guardiola, with none of those matches seeing more than four goals scored.

David Silva to score {ODDS:575068614:5/2}

Silva came off the bench after 55 minutes against Chelsea but could not prevent City from falling to their ninth loss of the season.

He is likely to start on Sunday, though, and has a solid record against Newcastle with five goals in 15 meetings.

Over 1.5 Newcastle cards {ODDS:576181761:4/5}

This bet has landed in Newcastle’s last four at home and in their last six overall.

City’s opponents have been shown at least two cards in three of their last five matches on the road.

Over 10.5 total corners {ODDS:574739439:21/20}

City have averaged 8.2 corners across their last five away matches, so could account for most of this themselves.

Newcastle have won an average of 6.8 corners across their last five at home, so are more than capable of making up the difference.
