Here are Adam Drury‘s football betting tips for Newport v Leicester on Sunday evening.

Leicester to win & BTTS

Newport have been prolific at the Newport Stadium this season, scoring 25 goals in their last 11 home matches.

Leicester, though, should have enough to win this game. The Foxes beat Fleetwood and Peterborough in this competition last season, the latter a thumping 5-1 away win, and have only failed to score in two of 12 away matches this term.

James Maddison to score

Maddison was rested for Leicester’s win at Everton on New Year’s Day, so is likely to play from the start on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has scored five goals already this season and will be on penalty duty in the absence of Jamie Vardy.

Scot Bennett to be carded

Having picked up three cards in his last four appearances, Bennett is an easy bet to go into the referee’s book.

The defender has five yellow cards overall this season and will have lots of defending to do with his side likely to be on the back foot for most of this match.

Caglar Soyuncu to be carded

Soyuncu has only picked up one yellow card this season, but is an obvious candidate for another here.

The Turkish international has committed 1.4 fouls per appearance this season, the highest of any Leicester player, and looks sure to start after missing the victory at Everton.
