Here are five football tips Will Rook thinks you should consider for Tottenham v Middlesbrough on Tuesday evening.
Middlesbrough to win or draw
Middlesbrough come into this in great form, having won four and drawn two of their last six matches in all competitions.
Jonathan Woodgate’s side took the lead in the reverse fixture two weeks ago and were a last-minute equaliser away from beating Derby last Saturday. Tottenham, meanwhile, are winless in four.
Ashley Fletcher to score
Fletcher has stepped into Britt Assombalonga’s scoring shoes since the latter became unavailable through injury in early December.
The Manchester United academy product has bagged four goals in his last six appearances for Boro, including the opening goal in their 1-1 draw at home to Spurs in the initial tie.
Both teams to score
Spurs have only failed to score three times in their last 19 matches in all competitions, so are worth backing to do their bit.
Over 11.5 corners
Tottenham racked up 14 corners all on their own when the two sides met on 5 January, with 18 in total in the match.
That alone makes this a very tempting price.
George Saville to be carded
Saville loves a card. The midfielder was booked in the initial tie and has picked up four yellows in his last seven matches.
He also averages 1.7 fouls per game – the joint-second most in the Middlesbrough squad.
