Here are Adam Drury‘s football betting tips for Millwall v Everton on Saturday.

Double chance: Millwall to win or draw

An Everton team short of form and confidence won’t find a trip to Millwall appealing.

The Toffees have only managed two victories from 11 attempts on the road this season, most recently losing at Brighton and Southampton.

Millwall downed Bournemouth, Watford and Leicester at the Den on their way to the quarter-finals of this competition two years ago and will relish facing Premier League opposition under the lights.

Under 2.5 goals

The Toffees have scored more than once in just one of their last seven away games and managed just two goals at home to League Two Lincoln in the previous round.

Against a Millwall side who will be happy to sit back and frustrate, there is unlikely to be much goalmouth action.

Over 2.5 Everton cards

Marco Silva’s side have picked up at least two cards in five of their last six away games.

Six of the last seven visitors to the Den have received at least two cards, as did Bournemouth and Watford in the previously-mentioned upsets.

A combination of the two factors means there is value in backing Everton to collect three or more here.

Yerry Mina to be carded

Perhaps the likeliest candidate for an Everton card is Mina.

The Colombian has been booked three times in nine starts this season and ranks third for fouls per game in the Toffees’ squad.
