Here are five football tips Jack Green thinks you should consider for Bournemouth v Arsenal on Monday night.

Arsenal to win

Arsenal showed real spirit to earn a draw with 10 men against Chelsea last Tuesday, and should build on that result with a win over Bournemouth.

The Gunners were unfortunate to draw 1-1 at Dean Court last month in Mikel Arteta’s first game in charge. They’re a better, more settled side now and should secure a spot in the next round.

Callum Wilson to score

Wilson ended a three-month scoring drought with a goal against Luton in the previous round, and also found the net in Tuesday night’s Premier League win over Brighton.

The England international has scored three goals in six matches against Arsenal, and has the added bonus of being on penalty duty against a makeshift Gunners defence.

Gabriel Martinelli to score

Martinelli was exceptional in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea and is surely now undroppable.

The 18-year-old has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season despite only featuring sparingly in the league, and is a much better bet to score than Alexandre Lacazette, who is in terrible form.

Over 4.5 total cards

Arsenal’s 57 yellow cards and three reds make for the worst disciplinary record in the Premier League this season, while Bournemouth have the sixth-worst with 47 bookings and two dismissals.

There were eight bookings in total when these sides last met in December, so over 4.5 this time around looks a great bet.

Jefferson Lerma to be carded

Lerma has been booked nine times in the Premier League this season, the most of any player.

The combative midfielder was shown a yellow card in December’s match against Arsenal and is the player most likely to be booked in what should be a feisty affair.
