Here are Jack Green‘s football betting tips for Blackpool v Arsenal on Saturday.
Arsenal to win
Unai Emery has rotated his Arsenal squad in cup competitions this season, but he’s still put out strong sides and they managed to reach the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.
The Gunners beat Blackpool 2-1 at the Emirates in that competition, and should repeat the feat away from home given that the Seasiders have won just two of their last nine matches.
Both teams to score
Blackpool managed to score at the Emirates in October, and they’re worth backing to do so on their own ground, too.
Arsenal are without a clean sheet in six matches, will likely field a weakened defence given all their injuries and also conceded against Brentford in the EFL Cup earlier this season.
Aaron Ramsey to score
Ramsey made a 15-minute cameo against Fulham at the weekend and scored his third goal of the season.
The Welshman will likely start in an attacking role at Bloomfield Road on Saturday, and could also be on penalty duty if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are rested.
Stephan Lichtsteiner to be carded
Lichtsteiner has been booked four times for Arsenal this season despite having only started sparingly, and he should be called upon with Emery so short of fit defenders.
The Swiss international has really struggled recently and could be targeted by Blackpool given his poor form.
