Here are five football tips Jack Green thinks you should consider for Arsenal v Leeds on Monday night.

Arsenal to win

Arsenal’s results have been mixed since Mikel Arteta took over as manager last month, but their performances have certainly improved and they looked very convincing in a 2-0 win over Manchester United on New Year’s Day.

The Gunners should beat Leeds, who are in a bit of a slump with just one win in their last five matches.

Both teams to score

Arsenal managed to keep Man Utd out on Wednesday, but it’s hard to trust them to keep another clean sheet given that they had conceded 16 goals in their previous eight home matches.

Leeds have found the net in 12 successive games and put five past Birmingham away from home a week ago.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score

With no Premier League game until Saturday, Arsenal have no reason to rest players for this tie, so Aubameyang should start.

The Gunners’ captain has scored two goals in his last three appearances and will likely play centrally with Alexandre Lacazette short of fitness.

Rob Holding to score

Leeds have conceded three goals from set pieces in their last two games, while Arsenal scored from corners against both Manchester United and Chelsea.

Having planned Man City’s set pieces while working under Pep Guardiola, Arteta has made the Gunners a threat from dead-ball situations so it’s worth backing the 6ft 2in Holding to find the net at a big price.

Over 5.5 cards

Arsenal have the Premier League’s worst disciplinary record, with 52 yellow cards and a red so far this season including 14 bookings in their last four games.

It’s safe to expect plenty of cards on Monday night given that Leeds have had at least three players booked in each of their last four matches.
