Brentford to beat Barnet and BTTS

Barnet drew 3-3 for the second consecutive game at the weekend, following their thriller at home to Brentford last Monday.

Darren Currie’s side have gone three games without a victory but should be able to score, having found the net away to Championship promotion chasers Sheffield United in the previous round.

Brentford beat Blackburn 5-2 at Griffin Park last Saturday and have won four of their last five matches in all competitions, keeping just one clean sheet.

QPR to beat Portsmouth

QPR were unfortunate to lose 2-1 at Wigan at the weekend, having registered 21 shots on goal at the DW Stadium and an xG double that of their opponents (Experimental361).

Back at Loftus Road, where they have beaten Leeds and Middlesbrough in their last five and lost just two of their last 10 in all competitions, the R’s should put that right.

Portsmouth were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Doncaster last weekend and have managed just one victory in their six matches.

Wolves to beat Shrewsbury and over 2.5 goals

Shrewsbury conceded two late goals to draw 2-2 in the first fixture between these sides last month and things have got even worse since then.

The Shrews, who were beaten 4-3 at Bradford last week and lost 3-0 at home to Luton last weekend, have won just one of their last 11 games in all competitions.

Sam Ricketts’ side could get a hiding from a Wolves side that have won three of their last four matches, scoring three or more goals in each of them.

Cheltenham to beat Yeovil

Cheltenham come into this match in decent shape at home, having won seven and lost just one of their last 12 matches in all competitions at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Michael Duff’s side won the reverse fixture 4-1 on New Year’s Day and are benefitting from the performances of veteran striker Luke Varney, who has bagged four goals in his last six league appearances.

The Robins represent excellent value at home against a side that have won just two of their last 11 away games.
