Bayern Munich to beat Schalke (17:30)

Schalke are one of just two sides yet to earn a point after three matches in the Bundesliga, as they struggle to adapt to life without Max Meyer and Leon Goretzka.

It’s not going to get any easier with the visit of Bayern.

Niko Kovac’s side have won all three of their league games so far this season, taking their tally to 21 victories in 24 Bundesliga matches.

Nice to win or draw v Montpellier (19:00)

Nice have found form after a tricky start to the season, winning 1-0 at Lyon and 2-1 at home to Rennes in their last two matches.

Patrick Vieira’s side should at least avoid defeat away at Montpellier, who are without a win in three home matches this season.

They drew with both 14th-placed St-Etienne and 16th-placed Strasbourg, so it’s worth backing Nice to get something on Saturday night.

Sampdoria to win or draw v Inter (19:30)

Sampdoria came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw with Fiorentina in midweek and extend their unbeaten run to three league games.

Marco Giampaolo’s side had previously won back-to-back matches against Frosinone and Napoli with an aggregate score of 8-0.

Inter lost 1-0 at home to Parma last weekend and have won just one of their opening four league games.

Vitesse (-1) to beat Den Haag (19:45)

Given that Den Haag were hammered 7-0 by PSV last week, backing them to lose by only two goals seems unreasonable.

The visitors lost 4-2 at fourth-placed Heracles in their opening game, and lost this fixture 2-0 last season.

Vitesse won their last two home league matches of last season 7-0 and 5-0, before a 5-1 win over Groningen on the opening weekend of this campaign.

Real Madrid (-1) to beat Espanyol (19:45)

Real Madrid were fantastic against Roma on Wednesday, winning by more than one goal for the third time in three matches at the Bernabeu this season.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have also beaten Getafe and Leganes 2-0 and 4-1 respectively, with Gareth Bale scoring in all of those matches.

Espanyol were beaten 2-1 at Alaves in their last away game, and would do well to get that close here.
