Atletico Madrid to win to nil –

Atletico Madrid have won 10 of their last 11 home games in all competitions to nil – with a 0-0 draw against Real Betis the only exception – and haven’t conceded a goal on their own turf since 20 January.

Arsenal have lost seven, drawn two and won just two of their last 11 away games in all competitions, meaning it’s hard to see anything but a comfortable win for the Spanish side on Thursday.

Antoine Griezmann to score –

Griezmann put away his only real chance at the Emirates to give Atletico control of this tie, and he should get many more opportunities to score in the second leg.

The Frenchman has netted eight goals in his last 10 club appearances, and seven in five starts at home.

Granit Xhaka to be carded

Xhaka’s yellow card against Manchester United on Sunday was his fifth in 11 matches.

The 25-year-old has now been booked 11 times this season – the most of any Arsenal player – and is a solid bet to be carded again in what should be a frustrating game for the Gunners.
