Here are Adam Drury's football tips for Chelsea v Dynamo Kyiv on Thursday evening.

Chelsea to win 3-1 or 4-1

Though this is a difficult match for them, it is better to back Kyiv to nick a goal on the counter-attack than to fall short completely.

The Ukrainian side have scored at least once in all of their away games in this season’s competition, including two away at both Rennes and Olympiakos.

But Chelsea should win comfortably. They have scored three, four and three in their last three European home matches, so hedging your bets with two correct scores is the right choice.

Under 1.5 Chelsea cards

Chelsea haven’t picked up more than one card in any of their last eight matches at home to teams outside the Premier League’s top six.

It would be a surprise were they to pick up a single booking here, but play it safe by backing under 1.5.

Over 2.5 Dynamo Kyiv cards

The visitors have picked up at least two cards in seven of their eight matches in this season’s Europa League, including three against Olympiakos last time out.

Given that Malmo picked up four yellows and a red at Stamford Bridge in the last round, and that two of the Blues’ three other European visitors this season have passed this mark, this seems a sensible bet.

Pedro to score

Pedro was rested for Sunday’s win at Fulham having scored in last week’s victory over Tottenham, so expect him to return to Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI here.

Six of the Spaniard’s eight goals this season have come at Stamford Bridge, so he is a likely contributor to a heavy home win.
