Here are five football tips Adam Drury thinks you should consider for Barcelona v Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid to win or draw

Real Madrid have only lost two out of 22 matches this season, one of which was away to PSG in September.

They have won four and drawn one of their last five away games, and have only lost one of their last six matches at the Bernabeu.

Karim Benzema to score

Benzema has scored 10 goals in his last 10 matches.

He ranks top for shots per game and xG in La Liga this season.

Gerard Pique to be carded

Pique has been carded in 11 of his 19 appearances this season.

Barcelona have picked up 20 cards in their last six home games against Real Madrid, so Pique is an obvious bet to help maintain that record.

Sergio Busquets to be carded

Busquets has been carded nine times in 21 games for club and country this season, being cautioned five times in his last seven.

He ranks top for tackles and fourth for fouls per game in Barca’s squad.

Real Madrid (+2) to have most corners

The corner count is bound to be close.

Barcelona have averaged six corners per home game this season, while Real average 5.13 on the road. The hosts also concede an average of 4.14 corners per home match, compared to Real’s 5.13 away from home.

Backing the visitors with a +2 handicap therefore looks a good bet, especially considering it would have won in four of the last six meetings between these sides at the Nou Camp.
