Football Tips: Anytime goalscorer tips for Sunday 03 03 19

Iago Falque (Torino) to score v Chievo (11:30)

Falque scored just his fourth goal of the season in last week’s win against Atalanta, but is perfectly capable of going on an extended run now.

The forward ranks second for xG per minute among players to have played 100+ minutes in Serie A since the winter break, while he ranks inside the top 30 for shots per game over the whole season.

Chievo have conceded at least twice in three of their last four away games, and in eight of their 12 on the road overall.

Andrea Petagna (SPAL) to score v Sampdoria (14:00)

Sampdoria have conceded at least twice in six consecutive away games, and rank second-bottom for xG against away from home in Serie A, so SPAL should create several chances here.

And given that he has netted in all of his last four matches, Petagna looks a straightforward bet to take advantage.

The striker ranks 11th for xG, 18th for shots and 19th for shots inside the penalty area per game across the whole Serie A campaign.

Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid) to score v Real Sociedad (17:30)

Griezmann has scored in eight of his last 11 La Liga appearances, so cannot be ignored at a price so far the right side of evens.

It is a bonus that he is an established penalty taker, but also encouraging that just three of his 12 league goals this season have come from the spot.

The Frenchman ranks fourth for shots per game in La Liga this term, while his side have won all of their last three matches.

Rodrigo (Valencia) to score v Athletic Bilbao (19:45)

After he scored the winner in Valencia’s Copa del Rey semi-final win against Real Betis on Thursday, Rodrigo looks a massive price to hit the net against Bilbao this weekend.

The forward has now scored in three of his last four appearances at the Mestalla, including a hat-trick against Getafe in January.

He ranks sixth for shots, eighth for shots inside the penalty area and sixth for xG per La Liga match this season, suggesting that he will receive plenty of opportunities.
