Juventus to beat AC Milan (17:30)
Juventus started 2019 as they finished last year, by winning matches.
The Old Lady beat Bologna 2-0 in the Coppa Italia on Saturday, meaning they have won 18 and drawn two of their domestic games this season.
They beat Milan 2-0 at the San Siro in November and should do so again against a side that has managed just two victories in its last seven matches in all competitions.
Stade Rennes to win or draw v Guingamp (18:00)
Stade Rennes extended their unbeaten run to eight matches in all competitions with a 1-0 win away to in-form Nantes in the Breton Derby.
They have won six matches in that sequence, beating their local rivals twice as well as earning victory away to Lyon last month.
Guingamp are bottom of Ligue 1 and have failed to win any of their 10 home games in any competition this season.
Nice to win or draw v Monaco (18:00)
Nice ended a six-match winless run last weekend with a 1-0 victory over mid-table Bordeaux in Ligue 1 and should earn at least another point on Wednesday.
Patrick Vieira’s side were only beaten twice in that sequence and have lost just one league game in nine.
Monaco continued to show signs of improvement on Sunday with a 1-1 draw away to Marseille but, with just four victories in their last 27 matches, it makes sense to back the visitors to get a point.
Atletico Madrid to beat Girona to nil (18:30)
Atletico Madrid have the best home record in La Liga, winning 12 and drawing two of their 14 matches in all competitions at the Wanda Metropolitano this season.
Diego Simeone’s side haven’t conceded a goal in seven-and-a-half hours at home, while they have only twice failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 10 matches.
Girona are currently on a six-match winless run and have failed to score in their last two away games.
Saint Etienne to beat Marseille (20:00)
Saint Etienne moved into fourth in Ligue 1 following their 1-0 win away to Guingamp on Saturday and are a great price to keep their impressive form going.
Les Verts have dropped just four points in nine unbeaten league games at the Stade Geoffrey Guichard, with their home form second only to Paris Saint-Germain.
Marseille were held to a 1-1 draw at home to second-bottom Monaco last weekend and are on an eight-match winless run in all competitions.
