European football tips for Sunday 28 04 19

Sevilla to beat Girona (13:00)

Girona are bottom of the La Liga form table, having lost each of their last six league games.

Eusebio Sacristan’s side are winless in their last 11 at home in all competitions and have taken just one point from their last six league games at the Estadi Montilivi.

Sevilla’s mediocre travelling record – the ninth-best in the division – goes some way to explaining their price but, with three wins from their last four games, they should get this acca off to a good start.

Lille to beat Nimes (14:00)

Second-placed Lille hammered champions Paris Saint-Germain 5-1 – the first time they have conceded five goals since 2000 – in their last home game.

They followed that with a 0-0 draw away to Toulouse and have lost just one of their last 14 league games.

The hosts should easily beat Nimes, who have lost nine of their last 10 away games in all competitions.

SPAL to beat Genoa (14:00)

SPAL have all but secured Serie A safety following a run of five victories from their last six league games that has put them top of the form table.

Leonardo Semplici’s side have beaten Juventus, Lazio and Roma in that sequence, and they are a great price to take another three points on Sunday.

Genoa have earned just one point from their last five matches and have won just one of their last 13 away games.

Hoffenheim to beat Wolfsburg (14:30)

Hoffenheim hammered struggling Schalke 5-2 last weekend, meaning they have dropped just two points in their last six matches.

That was the third time Julian Nagelsmann’s side have scored four or more goals in their last four games, and they should blow their goal-shy visitors away.

Wolfsburg have lost three away games in a row, failing to score in any of them.

FC Copenhagen to beat Odense (17:00)

Copenhagen are 11 points clear at the top of the Superligaen and have dropped just six points in a 20-match unbeaten run.

The league leaders have won their last 13 home games and have beaten Odense three times already this season, including a 6-1 thumping in their last meeting at the Parken Stadium in February.

Odense drew 0-0 at third-placed Esbjerg in their last match and are on a five-match winless run.
