Sampdoria to beat Udinese (17:00)
Sampdoria have won three consecutive home league matches, and have an excellent chance of extending that run against Udinese.
Striker Fabio Quagliarella will equal the record for scoring in consecutive Serie A matches (11) if he nets against his former side, which is evidence of his side’s free-scoring nature.
The visitors are quite the opposite. Davide Nicola’s side have failed to score in any of their last three away games, collecting just six points from nine on the road overall this term.
Frankfurt to win or draw v Werder Bremen (17:30)
Frankfurt beat Freiburg 3-1 in their return from the winter break last weekend, climbing to fifth in the Bundesliga table.
Adi Hutter’s side have now won eight of their last 13 league matches, losing just three times, and they should take at least a point from their trip to Bremen this weekend.
Werder Bremen beat Hannover last Saturday, but have only won two of their last 10 Bundesliga matches, including one of their last five at home.
Heracles to beat PEC Zwolle (17:30)
Heracles have won six of their eight Eredivisie home matches this season, losing only to Feyenoord and PSV.
They now face PEC Zwolle, who earned a surprise win at home to Feyenoord last weekend but have struggled on their travels recently.
Jaap Stam’s side have lost three of their last four away matches 2-0 or 3-0, and have only scored six goals on the road all season.
Racing Strasbourg to beat Bordeaux (19:00)
Strasbourg won their third successive Ligue 1 match last weekend, hammering Monaco 5-1 away from home.
That result followed victories over Toulouse and Nice to take Thierry Laurey’s side up to fifth, four points off a European spot.
Bordeaux have won just two of nine away games in Ligue 1 this season, against bottom-of-the-league Guingamp and strugglers Angers.
Napoli to beat AC Milan (19:30)
Milan have not had a bad campaign at the San Siro, but generally fall short when faced with the best teams.
Gennaro Gattuso’s side have lost to Real Betis, Juventus and Fiorentina on home soil this season, also dropping points against Atalanta.
Napoli should prove their superiority on Saturday. They have won five of their last seven league away games, and have beaten Lazio and Atalanta on the road this term.
