European football tips for Saturday 12 01 19

Sampdoria to win or draw against AC Milan (17:00)

Sampdoria were unbeaten in seven matches in all competitions before they lost 2-1 at Juventus just before the winter break.

They look good value to be at least level after 90 minutes in this Coppa Italia tie with AC Milan, having beaten them 2-0 at home in Serie A last season.

Milan are without a win in five away from home, and could be without Gonzalo Higuain for this game, with a potential move to Chelsea on the cards.

Alaves to win or draw against Girona (17:30)

Alaves come into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 win over Valencia last weekend.

That was their second straight league victory, while their only defeat in five in La Liga came away to Atletico Madrid.

Girona claimed an impressive draw with Atleti in the Copa del Rey in midweek, but have gone five without a win and have managed just three league victories in 14 attempts.

Bordeaux to win or draw against Nice (19:00)

Bordeaux have avoided defeat in six of their last eight away games, so back them not to lose at Nice on Saturday.

Eric Bedouet’s side lost just one of their last 12 overall and are unbeaten in six Ligue 1 matches since the end of October.

Nice have drawn three consecutive home matches and are winless in six overall.

Getafe to win or draw against Villarreal (19:45)

Getafe are in excellent form, only losing to Barcelona in their last eight matches.

The visitors are unbeaten in nine away from home, not losing on the road since the opening weekend of the season at Real Madrid.

Villarreal have only won three of their last 15 matches, winning just one of 10 home league games this term.

Juventus to win to nil against Bologna (19:45)

Juventus should ease to a win in this Coppa Italia tie.

The Serie A champions have won eight of their last 10 games in all competitions, and they’ve kept five clean sheets in their last seven away league games.

Bologna are without a win in 12 Serie A matches and have failed to score in three of their last four.
