Here are five football tips that Will Rook thinks you should consider for Dortmund v Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening.

Dortmund to win

Despite both teams’ impressive form, it feels more sensible to back Dortmund given their respective prices.

Their 2-0 victory over Leverkusen on Saturday was their seventh on the spin and, sitting four points behind league leaders Bayern, the onus is on them to win the game.

Bayern are in great nick themselves, having won 16 of their last 17 matches in all competitions, though their 5-2 win over Frankfurt on Saturday was nervier than it should have been. The visitors pulled the score back to 3-2 early in the second half before eventually losing touch.

Both teams to score & over 2.5 goals

This is an easy tip.

Dortmund and Bayern Munich are the two top scorers in the Bundesliga and have netted 13 goals between them in the two games since the restart.

The reverse fixture finished 4-0 to Bayern in November, but it seems almost inconceivable that Dortmund would draw a blank at home, where they have found the net in all but one game this season.

Raphael Guerreiro to score

Guerreiro is Dortmund’s unlikely top scorer since the restart, having scored three goals in two games.

Both of Dortmund’s goals against Wolfsburg on Saturday came from their marauding wing backs, and they will undoubtedly be utilised again here.

At this price, the Portuguese is great value to bag again.

Ivan Perisic to score

Perisic was unlucky not to find the net against Frankfurt at the weekend, but it wasn’t for want of trying.

The winger rattled off five shots on goal – three on target – before being substituted in the 63rd minute.

Having also played only five minutes in Bayern’s previous game against Union Berlin, you would expect him to be fresh enough to start.
