Here are five football tips that Jack Green thinks you should consider for Cologne v Leipzig on Monday night.
Leipzig to win
Leipzig are coming off a respectable 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin and looked great in their last away game, a 5-0 drubbing of Mainz.
Cologne haven’t been particularly impressive since the restart, drawing their first two matches at home to Mainz and Fortuna Dusseldorf before losing to Hoffenheim last Wednesday.
Both teams to score
BTTS has landed in each of Cologne’s last five matches, with their three since the restart finishing 2-2, 2-2 and 1-3.
Leipzig will surely score, and should also let at least one in given that they’ve conceded against both Hertha and Freiburg in their last three matches.
Over 3.5 goals
Leipzig won 4-1 when these sides met earlier in the season and a similar scoreline would be no surprise here.
Over 3.5 goals has landed in each of Cologne’s last three games and in five of their last six at home.
Timo Werner to score first
Werner has bagged 24 goals in 28 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, with that total helped by a hat-trick against Mainz last week.
The Germany international scored first in that game and also opened the scoring against Cologne in the 4-1 win earlier this season.
Cologne to receive the most cards
Cologne have the fourth-worst disciplinary record in the Bundesliga, with 64 yellow cards and four reds from their 28 matches.
Leipzig have been much better behaved – their record of 39 yellows and two reds is the third-best in the league.
