Betway writers’ 4 to score picks for Saturday 18 04 19

Our writers predict the first scorer in these Bundesliga matches for our free-to-play football predictions game.

4 To Score is Betway’s free-to-play football predictions game, where you can win a jackpot of £25k by correctly predicting the first player to score in our four selected matches.

To help you make your picks, our writers reveal who they think will break the deadlock in the Bundesliga this weekend.

Fortuna Dusseldorf v Hannover: Benito Raman

Dusseldorf scored after 48 seconds against Werder Bremen in their last home game and netted in the sixth minute at home to Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of March.

Hannover have already been relegated and are without an away win all season, while they have conceded first in six of their last eight on the road.

Raman netted first goal against Bremen last month and has scored 11 times this season, three of which have been the opener.

Will Rook

Borussia Monchengladbach v Borussia Dortmund: Christian Pulisic

Monchengladbach have conceded first in six of their last seven home games, so back a Dortmund forward here.

Pulisic looks a good bet, having scored the opening goal of his side’s last two matches.

He has scored seven Dortmund goals overall this season, four of which have been the first of the game.

Adam Drury

Werder Bremen v RB Leipzig: Yussuf Poulsen

Leipzig have won eight and drawn two of their last 10 away games, scoring 26 goals in the process.

They have a habit of making fast starts, scoring inside the first 20 minutes of seven of those matches.

That is particularly true of Yussuf Poulsen, who has broken the deadlock in seven of the 11 games in which he has scored this season.

Tom Clee

Bayern Munich v Eintracht Frankfurt: Robert Lewandowski

Bayern have opened the scoring in their last five straight home games, while also breaking the deadlock in their two previous clashes v Frankfurt this term.

It is hard to look past the top scorer in the Bundesliga this season, with Lewandowski sitting four clear in the Golden Boot standings on 22.

The 30-year-old has also been in good form of late, netting nine in his last 10 for Bayern, making him the obvious choice here.
