Tottenham to win

Spurs are back in form after recording back-to-back wins in the Premier League either side of knocking Watford out of the EFL Cup.

That’s in contrast to Barcelona, who have drawn two and lost one of their last three – their longest winless run since December 2016. They have also won just one of their last seven away from home in the Champions League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side won all three of their Champions League group games at Wembley last season, including 3-1 victories over both Dortmund and Real Madrid, and are well worth backing to record another big win in Europe on Wednesday.

Harry Kane to score

Kane netted six times in the Champions League group stages last season and appears to be back in form after grabbing a brace against Huddersfield at the weekend.

Lionel Messi to score

This doesn’t really need justifying, but here goes: Messi scored three times in Gameweek 1 and is the only Barca player to have scored away from home in the last two years.

Not to mention that he’s also the greatest footballer to have ever played the game.
