Here are five football tips Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Red Star Belgrade v Tottenham on Wednesday night.

Tottenham to win & BTTS

Tottenham won the reverse fixture 5-0 two weeks ago, but will struggle to replicate that thrashing in an intense atmosphere in Belgrade.

Red Star have scored three goals in each of their last three home games, and should trouble a fragile Tottenham defence that has kept just one clean sheet in five.

Over 3.5 goals

This has landed in five of the six Champions League matches played by these sides so far this season.

Four or more goals have also been scored in Red Star's last three home games.

Goal scored between 16-30 minutes

Tottenham have scored five goals and conceded two during this timeframe in the Premier League.

This also landed in the reverse fixture, with Son Heung-min netting on 16 minutes.

Harry Kane to score

Kane was missing for Spurs at the weekend with illness, but has travelled to Belgrade and is likely to start this must-win fixture.

He has 10 goals in 13 appearances for Tottenham this season, including four in three in Europe.

Danny Rose to be carded

Rose was suspended for Spurs’ 1-1 draw against Everton on Sunday so is likely to start against Red Star.

The left-back has five yellow cards in just 10 appearances this term.
